Sertraline (Zoloft) is an SSRI antidepressant used for major depressive disorder, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety disorder, and PMDD. It increases serotonin availability by blocking its reuptake in the brain.

Sertraline is considered a first-line treatment for most anxiety and depressive disorders in adults and adolescents. It typically takes 4–6 weeks to achieve full therapeutic benefit.
